Xuanxin Jushi
Xuanxin Jushi (Wu Fuheng) is a distinguished executive, innovator, and Zen calligrapher. Rooted in traditional Chinese aesthetics yet shaped by a global perspective, his work expresses stillness, precision, and quiet strength. He has practiced calligraphy since childhood, grounding it in the rigorous study of classical traditions—the structural weight of clerical script (Li Shu), the formal clarity of regular script (Kai Shu), the fluid vitality of running script (Xing Shu), and the sharp incisiveness of hard-pen calligraphy. His path has spanned the formative years of the internet, Wall Street as a hedge fund trader, and senior leadership in AI and quantitative finance. In his brushwork he seeks restraint and inner steadiness: an economy of stroke where structure and rhythm emerge from necessity rather than ornament, integrating the discipline of the Chinese masters, the meditative rigor of Japanese Shodō, and the reflective awareness of contemporary art. Founder of the North American Calligraphy Aesthetics Society. Each piece is a one-of-a-kind meditation in ink, created for discerning collectors and leaders. “藝為人生,書法道心.”
